A digital business card is a web-based profile that replaces or complements a printed card. Instead of handing over a piece of paper that can go out of date, you share a link or QR code. The recipient opens a mobile-friendly page with the contact information, role, company, biography, and links you choose to publish.

Because the card lives online, you can update it without reprinting anything. The same link continues to work after a role, phone number, or profile link changes. Recipients do not need to install an app or create an account just to view your card.

Use the QR code when meeting someone face to face, presenting at an event, or adding your card to a badge, poster, table sign, or email signature. Use the public link in messages, social profiles, proposals, and calendar invitations.

Every c4rd is designed for phones first, so the next step is obvious: open a useful link, save the contact, or exchange details. There is no special reader and no c4rd app between the introduction and the action.

Traditional cards only pass information in one direction. With contact exchange, a visitor can choose to send their name, email, phone number, company, and a note back to the card owner. That makes follow-up possible even when nobody remembers to type details into a CRM later.

Submissions appear in the card owner’s private contact area. Exchange is consent-based: visitors decide whether to submit their information, and public card viewers never gain access to the owner’s private account data.

A digital card can show more than whether a card was handed out. c4rd records useful product events such as views, link clicks, contact saves, and completed connections so owners can understand which details help people take the next step.

The analytics are deliberately focused on practical engagement. c4rd uses coarse device and referral information and does not permanently store visitor IP addresses or use browser fingerprinting for these metrics.
